If you’re a Filipino passport holder planning to visit South Korea, the visa process can feel a bit intimidating—especially if you’re a housewife or student with limited financial documents. Good news: it’s completely doable! In this guide, I’ll walk you through everything you need, how to apply as a walk-in applicant, and our exact timeline from submission to release.
📌 1. Where to Apply – Walk-In at KVAC (No Travel Agency Needed)
We did NOT apply through an accredited travel agency.Instead, we went directly to KVAC (Korea Visa Application Center), located at:
📍 9th Floor, Brittany Hotel BGC
We arrived at 8:00 AM, and we were 13th in line. All three of us—me, my husband, and our child—applied together as walk-ins.
KVAC is now the main center handling tourist visa submissions in the Philippines. Walk-ins are allowed, but lines can get long, so it’s best to come early.
